ROSLISTON CHURCH OF ENGLAND PRIMARY SCHOOL
PARENT TEACHER and FRIENDS' ASSOCIATION
WEBSITE.
A thriving Ptfa is generally the sign of a thriving school. If a school has a Ptfa you will usually find that it plays a key role in the school life. Rosliston Ptfa members give their time because they want to make a difference to the pupils and the school by providing items that the school could not otherwise afford. They support after school activities and provide funding for trips, that will stretch pupils minds and imaginations, in other words to help provide a richer education. They also do it because it's fun and enjoyable. Every parent and teacher at Rosliston School is automatically a member of our Association. Recently we gained the Charity Commission's approval to add 'Friends' to our title. This enables grandparents and past parents, to remain as part of the Rosliston Ptfa should they so wish. We are primarily fund raising volunteers (with little or no previous knowledge!) in other words, 'amateurs with committed objectives'!! We hope to enrich and benefit the pupils education in the purchases that we make and so become an integral part of Rosliston Primary school life. Our aim is to advance the education of pupils by providing and assisting in the facilities not normally provided by the LEA and develop extended relationships between staff, parents and other people associated with the school.
THE PTFA WILL CEASE AS OF 26TH NOVEMBER 2012
Another fundraising group is proposed - details to follow.
